As the owner of Inspiring Radiance, LLC it is my pleasure to introduce myself.  Inspiring Radiance, LLC began with my personal vision to inspire others to be the best possible version of themselves. In both my professional and personal life, I have seen others struggle with seeing their own self-worth and just feeling good enough. I have seen people who seem to have it all but deep down at the core level continue to face this inner struggle. Many times people face this alone because they feel too guilty and ashamed to reach out for help. Others may think that they can just get over it but no matter what they try they simply can't. Inspiring Radiance, LLC is a safe place to explore and get to the core of where this pain is really coming from.  The core of low self-worth/not feeling good enough can come from one big traumatic event, a combination of a few traumatic events, or more commonly from the combination of smaller lifetime traumas. I created Inspiring Radiance, LLC to reach out to those struggling with the ability to see the radiance they already possess within.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified SW Supervisor, EMDR Certified Therapist, and an EMDR Consultant-in-Training. I specialize in trauma, self-esteem/self-worth issues, PTSD, and women's mental health issues with over 15 years' experience in the field.

I utilize holistic treatment approaches that focus on truly healing the underlying causes of client's issues for a full integration of mind, body, and spirit.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University.  I received university honors in my coursework at Barry University.  As a part of my master’s program I completed two internships. I interned at Catholic Charities, in an outpatient mental health setting. This internship consisted of providing counseling services to individuals diagnosed with chronic mental health disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety disorders.  My internship at Tykes and Teens, Inc. consisted of providing counseling in an outpatient mental health setting and providing crisis stabilization services in an alternative school setting.

In the past, I worked as both a psychotherapist and school based psychotherapist with Tykes and Teens, Inc., a non-profit agency that provides mental health services in Martin County and the surrounding areas. 

​

I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Florida Atlantic University. I have held supervisory positions in this role.  

 

In July of 2016, I launched my own private practice because I had a passion to teach women to love themselves unconditionally. I struggled with my self-worth in my adolescence and into my young adulthood. I began a healing journey that completely transformed my life. So now I want to help women transform their lives.  As I began my professional career in the mental health field I began to truly see the percentage of women struggling with self-esteem/self-worth issues. It was staggering and completely unacceptable. It became clear to me that I needed to use my personal and professional experience to be the light of inspiration for others. I began to research and search for a model that encompassed the multifaceted needs of women. I discovered that there truly wasn't a model that fit what I was looking to do. So I created my own. I am the creator of the S.H.I.N.E. model that caters to the individual needs of women. This model helps women identify the areas they are struggling in and teaches them how to self-love and self-care based on their own specific needs. It teaches them how to honor themselves. It inspires them to reach their full potential. It teaches them how to nurture themselves and embrace their insecurities. I am absolutely passionate about the work I do and look forward to joining and guiding you on your healing journey!
